Not easy for Eclectus parrots, as we have found out. They are more like humans in the fact that you can put a sexed pair of them together and not get any interest between them. Pretty frustrating. They are both just more than a couple of years old. They belong to my two sons, Adrian and Phillip. Adrian started with Carrie, a beautiful female. He has had her for 8 or 9 months now. He was told she was two when he bought her. Now Phillip and Adrian, so interested in this Eclectus they chipped in together and bought a male . They named him Jay. He is about two years old and can he talk up a storm! The problem is Carrie is not about to have anything to do with Jay. She appears to be stronger and more aggressive than Jay. My son, Adrian, in fear for Jay’s life, is keeping them in separate cages next to each other for now.  Is there any chance of getting these two together?!
